Welcome to Essex
Our largest showroom can be found on the Capitol Industrial Estate in Wickford Essex, along with other retailers, hardware stores, and the very delicious Brew 81 cafe. So park up, grab a beverage, and let's talk outdoor living...
Are you hungry after an afternoon of furniture shopping? We highly recommend indulging in The Anchor in Hullbridge, which has a lovely beer garden right on the riverside. Want to eat before you arrive, then The Laughing Pear is the place to be. American-style pancakes with all the toppings, full English breakfasts, or simply bubble and squeak. They've got it all.
Bringing your children with you? Make a day of it, and visit Basildon Festival Leisure which is a few miles down the road. Catch the latest film at Cineworld, enjoy mini golf at Mulligans, and throw some bowling balls at Hollywood Bowl.
Fun fact... Did you know that Essex has a 350 mile long coastline? Grab yourself a Rossi ice cream from Southend seafront, and enjoy the worlds longest pleasure pier. Also, rumour has it that five of the past US presidents came from the County of Essex!

Our Essex store is run by the wonderful Neil. Neil Parkinson is a Showroom Manager who helps customers buy the garden furniture that best suits them by listening to and understanding the "wish list" whilst respecting the budget. Neil has personal experience of preparing, furnishing, maintaining and enjoying a garden space of all shapes and sizes. This insight can help in the decision-making process; should it be a formal dining set or a more casual corner set with dining possibilities or where will the best place be for that parasol?
Neil has worked in the Wickford Showroom for nearly 4 years and has personally assisted over 3700 customers in that time and had an influence over many more, by assisting colleagues, answering questions and giving his opinions. Neil designed and project managed the refurbishment of his own garden space during 2020, pictures I'm sure will be available on request!!
When he is not managing the showroom, Neil can be found in his garden, outdoor cooking or tinkering on his "vintage" Land Rover Defender 90.
