• Can I view your metal garden furniture range in a showroom?

  You can view our range of metal garden furniture at our stores in Essex, Surrey, Hertfordshire, York, Milton Keynes and Cambridge where you can ask our experts for help and advice. If you can’t get to one of our showrooms, you can book a virtual appointment to speak to a member of our team via video call. They can demonstrate the features of the garden furniture you are interested in and answer any questions you may have from the comfort of your own home.

• Does your metal garden furniture come with a warranty?

  Our metal garden furniture does come with a warranty. The details of the warranty will vary according to the type of furniture:

  
  → Aluminium garden furniture is covered by a 2 year warranty. It’s finished with AkzoNobel powder-coating which is an industry-leading powder-coating technology 

  → Our cast aluminium collection is covered by a 5 year warranty

  → The glass, suction rings, feet, cushions, and reclining mechanisms are covered by a 1 year warranty

  The warranty will cover:

  • Structural damage if furniture arrives damaged or if the structural damage has not been caused by misuse of the product. If the damage occurs within the warranty period, then the item will be replaced/repaired.
  • It does not cover scratches or flaking. If, in rare instances, this does occur White Stores will provide touch-up paint for this, where possible.
• How do you store metal garden furniture?

  It is advised to store any garden furniture in a shed or garage during the winter months. However, metal garden furniture is designed for durability and can be left outside. Use a furniture cover to store your metal garden furniture and limit any unnecessary wear and tear, and put cushions in a storage box to prevent damp or mould.

• How long is delivery?

  Delivery can take anywhere between 3 to 10 days depending on the item being delivered. All products have a delivery estimate so you can see before you place your order how long the expected delivery will be. 

• How do I properly care for metal garden furniture?

  To care for your metal garden furniture and prolong its lifespan, you should:

  • Clean with mild soap and water, using a soft cloth or sponge to remove dirt and grime
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the surface
  • Allow to dry thoroughly to prevent water spots and rust formation
  • For added protection apply a coat of metal sealant or outdoor furniture finish
  • Store your furniture indoors or use a furniture cover to safeguard it from the elements
  • Check regularly for any signs of wear, such as scratches or rust, and address issues promptly
• Is metal garden furniture weather resistant?

  Metal garden furniture is generally resistant to most weather conditions and, with proper care, can last a long time. Aluminum and stainless steel especially are resistant to rust and corrosion. Metal garden furniture may get hot when placed in direct sunlight or cold when temperatures drop. Using a parasol or pergola can reduce this effect.
