Welcome to Hertfordshire
We're incredibly excited to say that White Stores garden furniture is now at the popular Riverside Outdoor Living Centre in Hertfordshire. A spacious building bursting with everything you'll need for a great day in the garden. Riverside is proud to be the home of BBQs and outdoor cooking. Plus, we've got lots of big outdoor brands available to shop in-store.
As the name suggests, we are positioned on the side of a beautiful river Lea, home to ducks and other animals. Speaking of animals, why not spend the rest of your day at Hertfordshire Zoo. Home to over 800 animals including Amur tigers, white lions, red pandas, and much more, we're sure you'll love taking a walk on the wild side.
Do you enjoy a walk outdoors? Who not visit one of the many parks and gardens in Hertford. Panshanger Park is a wonderful countryside park, which is popular for walking and picnics. With rivers, lakes, and woodland, this park is always bursting with wildlife. Hartham Common Park is another great park to visit whilst you're in the area, with a children's play area packed with climbing frames, and canals home to longboats running through the park.
Feel peckish? The White Horse Hertingfordbury is a pub with guest rooms nestled in a quiet village, just a short drive up the road. The roast dinners are a hit amongst locals and dog walkers alike.

Our Hertfordshire store is run by the wonderful Chris.
It's been 12 years since Chris joined Riverside; home to White Stores Herford, and in that time, he’s gained a wealth of knowledge about our products. Starting as an order processor handling courier bookings, he soon moved into website content, where he learned the ins and outs of our ranges. That experience naturally led him to the shop floor, where he now helps customers find their perfect furniture and BBQ setups.
His top picks? The Wood Look Legacy Pergola and the Isaac Dining Set. And when it comes to BBQs, he’d go for the Napoleon Prestige® Phantom Black 4-Burner Gas BBQ – Prestige 500 LPG every time.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family or getting lost in a good book - preferably something sci-fi or fantasy. Anything like Lord of the Rings is right up his alley!
