The Proteus Collection

The Proteus pergola collection offers a sturdy and stylish outdoor solution, combining aluminium leg poles with galvanised steel louvres for enhanced durability. Designed to withstand the elements, it features UV protection to prevent fading and maintain its sleek appearance over time. The adjustable louvres allow you to control sunlight and ventilation, creating a comfortable outdoor space in any weather. A built-in drainage system efficiently directs rainwater away, ensuring a dry and functional area beneath the pergola. While the Proteus collection is compatible with a Proteus privacy screen for added shelter, the collection as a whole provides a versatile and modern addition to any garden or patio.

The Shadow Collection

The Shadow pergola collection is built from robust galvanised steel, offering strength and durability for year-round outdoor use. Designed for versatility, it features adjustable louvres that open and close, allowing you to control sunlight and airflow with ease. A built-in drainage system efficiently channels rainwater away, keeping the space beneath dry and functional. While the Shadow pergola provides excellent shelter and shade, it is not currently compatible with our range of privacy screens, making it best suited for open, airy garden settings.

All our pergolas have a handy drainage system that works to keep you dry without water building up on top of the closed roof. Any rainwater that lands on the louvres flows into U-shaped channels. From here, the water flows from the roof and into channels in the pergola framework. Once in the horizontal framework, the rainwater will then flow into the inside of the hollow pergola legs and vertically down to the ground. This genius system means that you'll never see the water draining off the pergola. If you were to open the louvres when wet, the U-shaped channels prevent rainwater from dripping under the sheltered area.

Our pergola collections do come with a range of accessories. We have side walls and privacy screens to keep your garden setting private and help prevent against windy afternoons. Please do check that the accessory is compatible with the pergola you have chosen, and some accessory kits will not fit certain pergola models. All this information is on the product pages, but if you're still unsure, you can always reach out to our friendly customer service team.

Before choosing a pergola, we recommend ensuring that the surface you wish to install the pergola on is completely flat, as if it is not, this will affect not only how the pergola drains but also the appearance of the pergola. We advise customers that they are responsible for ensuring the ground is level, and if you choose to purchase and place it on an uneven surface, we cannot accept responsibility for any leaks.

Our pergolas do not require planning permission. However, if you are unsure, we always recommend contacting your Local Planning Office.

All pergolas will require assembly and we recommend 2-3 people would be best to work together to assemble this efficiently and safely, based on the size and the weight of the pieces. The pergolas can take upwards of 2 hours to build; however, full instructions are included to try and make the process as straightforward as possible. We've also created a helpful pergola installation video, which you can watch on YouTube here.

We recommend that the pergola legs are securely bolted to the floor using the holes within each leg base plate and the expansion bolts included. The pergolas can be bolted into all surfaces, including patio and porcelain tiles; however, we recommend taking great care when doing this to avoid cracking or splitting your ground surface.

If you wish to opt for our pergola assembly service, this will be an additional fee. Costs may vary depending on the size of the item and location. To check whether this is available in your area, and upgrade to this service if possible, we recommend placing your order via telephone.

If you are unable to opt for the assembly service, all pergolas will be delivered on a two-man delivery service due to the weight and size of the items. This service can take up to 14 working days from dispatch and the two-man courier service will text you to book you in for a suitable delivery date within the 14-working day period.
