Every year we see a rise in the popularity of our Christmas Nutcracker collection, and this year they seem to be more in demand than ever. If you’re thinking of adding a Nutcracker to your Christmas display this year, here’s why you definitely should and what you need to know about these charming characters.
What are they made from?
Our Nutcracker collection offers a range of stunning characters, each with their own names and personalities. Based on the popular German wooden crafted Nutcrackers, which are symbols of good luck and thought to scare away bad spirits, our Christmas Nutcrackers are made from a more weatherproof material – Poly Resin.
The Poly Resin material means that our Nutcrackers are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. All of the Nutcrackers are hand-painted and finished with care to add life and character to the figures. The weatherproof finish also means these Nutcrackers will never need repainting.
What sizes do they come in?
Our Nutcrackers sizes range from adorable 1ft pairs that look perfect on a mantelpiece to a whopping 10ft figure. We recommend the smaller figures to look best next to a fireplace or indoor tree. For our bigger figures we believe they look best outdoors, guarding your front door. Additionally, these Nutcrackers look much more impressive in pairs, which is why we offer family collections of our Nutcracker characters.
Our most popular range of Nutcrackers are the 3 foot Norberts which come complete with battery-powered LED lights built into their jackets. Their bright colours and fun size add magic and fun to your Christmas display and are extremely popular with children.
For really adding the wow factor to your outdoor display, our range of 5 foot Henri nutcrackers are sure to draw gasps. With stunning multi-coloured LED lights adorning his jacket, Henri plays a choice of 8 Christmas songs loud and clear for all to hear whilst his moving arms beat his drum to the music.

Where Did They Come From?
Nutcracker dolls originated from late-17th century Germany and grew in popularity around the 19th century where they spread to nearby European countries. The dolls became popular outside of Europe after the Second World War and now with ballet adaptations, films and storybooks all based around these lovable characters, their popularity just keeps on growing.
