Although we’re now into the summer months, the weather is still extremely temperamental – typical of the British climate. So, what can you do to ensure the weather doesn’t interfere with your garden plans? We recommend a patio heater, to keep your garden well lit, warm and always stylish.
Patio heaters are brilliant for keeping your garden party or al fresco dining experience going for longer. With a patio heater you won’t have to rush inside or grab a pile full of blankets for your guests when it starts getting chilly. Instead, you’ll be able to ensure everyone stays nice and warm with the flick of a switch. Plus, a patio heater will also act as a light, ensuring your guests can still see what they’re doing, the kids can still play outside, the wine can keep flowing and the barbecue can keep cooking.
Types Of Patio Heaters
There are several different types of patio heater available, from freestanding, to table top, to parasol attachment, to hanging heaters and wall-mounted heaters. We believe your choice of patio heater should complement the layout of your garden furniture. For example, a table top heater is ideal for an al fresco dining set up, as the heat will be able to reach everyone, but wouldn’t work so well for a corner sofa layout. Instead, for sofa sets and corner sofas we recommend a freestanding heater. Additionally, if you don’t want to give up valuable table space, and you have a parasol, then a parasol heater is ideal for you.
Match Your Furniture
If you’re looking for style as well as practicality, then we recommend a heater that matches the style of your garden furniture. For example, if you have rattan garden furniture then a patio heater with a rattan base would match perfectly. We offer rattan heaters in both brown and grey, which are our most popular colours for rattan garden furniture. However, if you prefer something different then a great 360° heater with a coloured light will add both style and something fun to your garden.

Go Electric
We always recommend electric patio heaters as they are incredibly durable, however, you must ensure that you have a suitable plug socket for the heater. This could be a suitably covered outdoor socket or an indoor socket. We have ensured that all of our patio heaters have lengthy lead cables so that they can reach your nearest plug socket.
Be In Control
Additionally, we suggest looking for a patio heater that offers many different heat options so that you can control the settings and be incredibly comfortable outdoor. A patio heater with multiple heat rings and heat switches will not only allow you to adjust the heat to your preferred setting but it will also allow you to save energy and money by only using the heat required.
